Title:

I flew

One day a man to me did say:
Take to the road my son
Put your dreams in your knapsack
Go away, go away
I know that here on the plot the moon
Is bathed in beauty
Though lovelier still is the certainty
Of the season yet to come.
For you there's someone waiting
On the corner of your hope
I know my poor heart
Will be broken.
Your mother, I know, too,
Will sob with sadness
But she'll say for sure:
I'll pray for you.
Sing a song of revolt
A song of victory, too
For to sing for singing's sake
Is never enough for you.
